Full Description:
It is a POETRY BUƒƒET at the
CrepeMaker Caƒe - Feb 15th In honor of St. Valentine, we will dedicate the evening to:
"Love Isn't it Romantic, Or Not ..."
To promote the theme, dress up like a Valentine, in red and/or white or like a favorite lovelorn poet. And get those love poems ready -- you know the ones that you keep hidden in the shoebox in the back of your closet. There will be prizes for the best get-up and the juiciest poem. All poets are welcome; you need not follow the theme -- just come as you are...
Dr. Barbra Nightingale will be our guest poet at the February Poetry Buffet. She is a prolific poet, whose poetry touches the hearts of many; she is well versed in publishing, with more than 200 poems in various journals and Anthologies. Following her readings, we will begin our round-robin shared poetry session. Poets, please bring one of your own poems dedicated to "Eros - love lost or found" and that of a favorite poet and enjoy sharing crepes, wine and verse. Laptops are welcome - we have WIFI.
"O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? And what prompt do you have in store for us?"
As always, Cara Nusinov of ReadPoemsWithMe will present a new creative idea to prompt the poetic juices.
We offer complimentary wine with your meal and a fixed price menu of selected crepes which includes an entree crepe, chips, choice of beverage and a dessert crepe. Additional items may be purchased a la cart.
$16 per person (plus tax & gratuity)
