GABLES GALLERY NIGHT One of South Florida’s most popular cultural events takes place from 7–10 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, when Coral Gables’ art galleries throw open their doors for Gables Gallery Night. The event attracts upwards of 2,000 participants, drawn by the outstanding exhibitions, friendly and festive atmosphere, complementary refreshments, and free shuttles on minibus limousines. Sponsored by the Coral Gables Gallery Association and supported by the City of Coral Gables and the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Gables Gallery Night is in its 14th year. Coral Gables has become America’s leading center for Latin American and contemporary art, with most galleries exhibiting works by Latin American or Spanish artists or by local artists of Hispanic descent.
